Pipes and Tubes

Manufacturer/Exporter Steel Pipe and Tube

Seamless Pipes and Tubes - Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Chrome Moly Steel and High Nickel Alloys

Pipe is a hollow tube with round cross section for the conveyance of products. The products include fluids, gas, pellets, powders and more. The word pipe is used as distinguished from tube to apply to tubular products of dimensions commonly used for pipeline and piping systems. PIPEFIT SOLUTION PVT LTD is Manufacturer, Stockholder, and Dealer of Steel Pipes and Tubes in Seamless / Welded / ERW / EFW Form. High Quality Steel Pipe and Tubes at Competitive Price. Steel Pipe and Tubes Specially Developed for International Market. Leading Supplier of Steel Pipes and Tubes Based in India.

Materials for Pipe

Engineering companies have materials engineers to determine materials to be used in piping systems. Most pipe is of carbon steel (depending on service) is manufactured to different ASTM standards.

Carbon-steel pipe is strong, ductile, weldable, machinable, reasonably, durable and is nearly always cheaper than pipe made from other materials. If carbon-steel pipe can meet the requirements of pressure, temperature, corrosion resistance and hygiene, it is the natural choice.

Iron pipe is made from cast-iron and ductile-iron. The principal uses are for water, gas and sewage lines.

Plastic pipe may be used to convey actively corrosive fluids, and is especially useful for handling corrosive or hazardous gases and dilute mineral acids.

Other Metals and Alloys pipe made from copper, lead, nickel, brass, aluminium and various stainless steels can be readily obtained. These materials are relatively expensive and are selected usually either because of their particular corrosion resistance to the process chemical, their good Heat Transfer, or for their tensile strength at high temperatures. Copper and copper alloys are traditional for instrument lines, food processing and Heat Transfer equipment. Stainless steels are increasingly being used for these.

Our stock range is pre-tested to stringent testing requirements which ensure that in most cases our stock material is already suitable for your needs. This means that your material can be progressed for dispatch almost immediately.

Pipes & Tubes

carbon steel seamless pipes, stainless steel seamless pipes, carbon steel welded pipes, stainless steel welded pipes, is used widely in machining parts, shafts, bearings, cylinders having strength of 75000 PSI tensile. Also, they are called carbon steel rods which are pushed on the mandrel to form the shape of tube. Many different sizes are available.

At PIPEFIT SOLUTION PVT LTD, our company specializes in Steel Seamless Pipes including the following:

Stainless, Carbon, High Nickel Alloys and Chrome Moly Alloy Steel Seamless Pipes and Seamless Tubes - Our Core product

A Pipe is a tubular section or hollow cylinder, usually but not necessarily of circular cross-section, used mainly to convey substances which can flow - liquids and gases (fluids), slurries, powders, masses of small solids. It can also be used for structural applications; hollow pipe is far stronger per unit weight than solid members. In common usage the words pipe and tube are usually interchangeable, but in industry and engineering, the terms are uniquely defined. Depending on the applicable standard to which it is manufactured, pipe is generally specified by a nominal diameter with a constant outside diameter (OD) and a schedule that defines the thickness. Tube is most often specified by the OD and wall thickness, but may be specified by any two of OD, inside diameter (ID), and wall thickness. Pipe is generally manufactured to one of several international and national industrial standards.[1] While similar standards exist for specific industry application tubing, tube is often made to custom sizes and a broader range of diameters and tolerances. Many industrial and government standards exist for the production of pipe and tubing. The term "tube" is also commonly applied to non-cylindrical sections, i.e., square or rectangular tubing. In general, "pipe" is the more common term in most of the world, whereas "tube" is more widely used in the United States.

There are three processes for metallic pipe manufacture. Centrifugal casting of hot alloyed metal is one of the most prominent processes. Ductile iron pipes are generally manufactured in such a fashion. Seamless (SMLS) pipe is formed by drawing a solid billet over a piercing rod to create the hollow shell. Seamless pipe withstands pressure better than other types, and is often more easily available than welded pipe. Welded (also Electric Resistance Welded ("ERW"), and Electric Fusion Welded ("EFW")) pipe is formed by rolling plate and welding the seam. The weld flash can be removed from the outside or inside surfaces using a scarfing blade. The weld zone can also be heat treated to make the seamless visible. Welded pipe often has tighter dimensional tolerances than seamless, and can be cheaper if manufactured in the same quantities. Large-diameter pipe (25 centimetres (10 in) or greater) may be ERW, EFW or Submerged Arc Welded ("SAW") pipe.
